Yield Event 4/23/22 A Great Success!
Dr. Azita Hamedani '95 organized a wonderful "Yield Event" for our accepted Wisconsin high school seniors last weekend, with about 30 total attendees including roughly a third of the accepted seniors, their family, and nearly a dozen of our alumni. We were able to keep the costs low, and many of the alums who attended were willing to chip in a few dollars for the cause. If you'd like to donate a few dollars ($25 would be plenty!), you can send a payment via venmo to Dr. Hamedani (@Azita-Hamedani) or you can mail a check:

Yale Day of Service Event Set for May 7, 2022
After two years of virtual-only events, the YAW is happy to announce an in-person Yale DOS event this spring. Join us outside for a joyful afternoon at Lapham Peak's popular Butterfly Garden; we'll be planting new plants, watering, and working on the surrounding greenery. Come alone or with your family! Children are welcome. Note that it is a 1/4 mile walk up a hill on a paved path to get to the garden.

Park in the Homestead Parking Lot off of Hwy C (map)
*WI State Park vehicle admission sticker is required

Please also block your calendars for a fantasticYAW social event on the evening of Saturday, June 25,2022. YAW stalwart and board member Jeff Perzan '82 has kindly offered to host a social mixer on his downtown apartment rooftop patio that evening. More details to come!
I'll be playing with my band at the Landing at Hoyt Park Beer Garden in Wauwatosa on Friday, August 12 from 5-8pm and would love to invite the YAW membership to attend! Will send out more information closer to the date.
