YAW Summer Social Mixer 8/6/22 5:30-8:30pm

Jeff Perzan '82 would like to invite the membership of the YAW to a social mixer on his downtown MKE apartment rooftop this Saturday evening 8/6/22 from 5:30-8:30pm. The rooftop space overlooks the lake and allows for an amazing view of downtown Milwaukee as the sun sets. What a great invitation! This is a rescheduled opportunity from June due to scheduling conflicts with the prior date we had selected.

There is street parking available. Take the elevator to the 15th floor, proceed through the door across from the elevator and up the stairs to the rooftop. We'll be on the east side, overlooking the lake. Bring a bottle of your favorite beverage along to drink and/or share, and a snack or hors d'ourve if you can.
 

New YAW service opportunity 8/20/22!

Dear Yalies,

Please come join for an unofficial Yale Day of Service on Saturday 8/20 at GloBall Giving (https://globallgiving.org/).  This is a non-profit my daughter has been working at all summer and they need the last push to help clear out their store room in preparation for new arrivals.

By way of background, GloBall Giving has been around for a decade and does an amazing job of connecting people who want to offload gently used sports equipment and uniforms w/ areas throughout the world that are in need.  The story is really impressive in terms of impact and joy they have brought to kids all over.  The founder will be present and can share the background.  

Ideally, the group would meet around 8am.  People can stay for as little or as long as they want.  The group that is still there by 12pm, my husband and I will treat at Poco Locos (right next door - and opens at noon).

We'll hopefully be back at the Milwaukee Yacht Club to watch Yale once again trounce Harvard at the138th playing of THE GAME on November 19, 2022. Put it on your calendars!

I'll be playing with my bandBockenplautzat theLanding at Hoyt Park Beer Gardenin Wauwatosa on Friday, August 12 from 5-8pm and would love to invite the YAW membership to attend! Stop on out with your family - kid and pet friendly! Always a really fun place to perform.

We are also actively planning a return performance from the Yale Whiffenpoofs of 2023 in the Milwaukee area in late October - please stay tuned for more details!
