Admission decisions were just released late last week and our Alumni Schools Committee has worked hard to find a date/time for a Yale Yield Event for Wisconsin.
Please mark your calendarsforSaturday, April 23rdfrom 1p-3p.
We are hoping for a big alumni turn out to meet the accepted high school students from Wisconsin. This year we had24 admitsfrom across the state and at least half of them have RSVP’dYESfor this event already!
In past years we have benefited fromDr. Tom Bartell’s incredible generosity– always opening his home to all students, family, and alumni. This year, the predominance of RSVPs requested a Milwaukee location. So one problem – we need a host in the Milwaukee area. If you arewilling to host at your home, please email Azita Hamedani(azita1923@gmail.com) directly.
Otherwise, please lock the date/time on your calendar and we will follow-up with specific location as time draws near.

Yale Day of Service Event Set for May 7, 2022
After two years of virtual-only events, the YAW is happy to announce an in-person Yale DOS event this spring. Join us outside for a joyful afternoon at Lapham Peak's popular Butterfly Garden; we'll be planting new plants, watering, and working on the surrounding greenery. Come alone or with your family! Children are welcome. Note that it is a 1/4 mile walk up a hill on a paved path to get to the garden.

*WI State Park vehicle admission sticker is required
***We have also been invited to potentially assist on a community service project to help clean up Washington Park in Milwaukee along with our colleagues in the Harvard Club of Wisconsin. This would also be on May 7th, and would be through the Urban Ecology Center. More details yet to come on this!

Please also block your calendars for a fantasticYAW social event on the evening of Saturday, June 25,2022. YAW stalwart and board member Jeff Perzan '82 has kindly offered to host a social mixer on his downtown apartment rooftop patio that evening. More details to come!
Also look for possible beer garden social mixer events later in the summer - these are still in planning phases.
